Simpsonville artist, Pamela DeWitt, is passionate about her work on shattered glass. Working typically on recycled glass, the broken and patiently mended glass provides a depth of color and variations not possible on paper or canvas.

She has sold her reverse painted shattered glass pieces all over the world. Each piece is an original. She uses transparent watercolors as her primary media but incorporates leafing and minerals, as well.

She also markets her work in Santa Fe, NM, Charleston, SC and Booth Bay Harbor, ME.

Artist Statement:  "Although all too seldom, each of us takes a moment to really look at the beauty and wonder of the world around us. I paint to convey that sense of peace and awareness. As I put brush to glass, I return to those special moments of awe. When you enter that magical place with me, my mission is accomplished, and I am blessed again."
