Hello, my name is Gerda Bowman. Originally from Ohio, I moved to the warmer climates of the Southeast in 1993.

Having always enjoyed drawing, I enhanced and formalized my skills with five years of courses at the Lindentree Studio in Canton, Ohio. Courses spanned those of basic drawing skills through three levels of portraiture.

My primary mediums are colored and graphite pencils. Over the years, I have expanded my 2D horizons to include pastels, watercolors and alcohol inks. Additionally, I enjoy creating wearable art in the form of woven beaded jewelry.

I am a founding member of the Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville.
