Originally from Ohio, I moved to the warmer climates of the Southeast in 1993.  

From that first coloring book and box of crayons, I have always enjoyed drawing and the creative process in general.

I enhanced and formalized my skills with five years of courses at the Lindentree Studio in Canton, Ohio.  Courses spanned those of basic drawing skills through three levels of portraiture.  

Primarily, I work with colored pencils and graphite, sometimes combining one or both with pen and ink and watercolor.  I generally use high grade drawing paper for graphite or colored pencil works.  However, watercolor paper works beautifully with pieces that have combined mediums.  I also work with alcohol inks, pastels and acrylics.

Additionally, I create wearable art in the form of woven beaded jewelry. 

 I am a founding member of Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville, a cooperative art gallery in the heart of downtown Greenville, South Carolina.  Opening in 2007, AGGG continues to be a premier, high quality gallery dedicated to promoting local arts and artists.
