I have always enjoyed the challenge of capturing a likeness and the details of a subject that make it uniquely "it". I have found that graphite pencils and colored pencils are the mediums that provide me the control to obtain those details. Watercolors and pastels combine beautifully with pencils to provide added depth and interesting backgrounds to chosen subjects.

The creation of art is personally fulfilling. However, if, in future years, at least one person still finds pleasure in one of my endeavors, I will have satisfied one of my main goals.

I do commissioned works as well as teach drawing lessons at the gallery.
