I enjoy capturing man interacting with his environment and painting nature itself. I was born in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina and have spent the greater portion of my life in the Carolinas. I love the atmospheric challenges of the mountains. I love painting rivers and streams. Painting water is always challenging, whether in a mountain stream or the rolling surf at the beach.
