While I haven’t always made a living as a photographer, I feel that I have always lived as one. I requested my first camera at the age of 8 and have found great joy and expression in documenting the world around me over the years.
An official career in photography was born here in Greenville in 2001 where landscape and fine art images were my focus. A move to the Middle East in 2006 followed by 3 years in Texas took me in the directions of travel scenery, environmental portraiture, and ultimately to pet/animal portraiture.
After returning to Greenville in 2012, I have continued to specialize in fine art pet portraiture under the “Fetching Images” brand as well as volunteer my photography services for local animal rescues. I regularly contribute portrait and editorial work to Life + Dog Magazine (lifeanddog.com) while pursuing additional creative projects around my animal subjects. I have also reacquainted myself and my camera with the beautiful landscapes of the area. Photography is my way of discovering the extraordinary amid the ordinary.
