I painted this piece after my Mother suffered a stroke and wasn't doing very well. I got a comment from a young girl that a lady was going to heaven and her Father mentioned that the woman had stopped on the step. I was knocked out by what they saw and understood. My Mother is doing better and still working with her cane, but she is still here!
